2017 Legally Blonde

Please join us as we tell the story, based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name, of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner.

This musical is best for ages above 10.

A fabulously fun international award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. This action-packed musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming, this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!
Legally Blonde The Musical will take you from the sorority house to the halls of justice with Broadway's brightest new heroine (and, of course, her chihuahua, Bruiser).
Based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical stays true to form with a peppy score and playful book. This musical is ridiculously enjoyable, from start to finish.
Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette and Emmett, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
This musical is relatively new to the theatre world, catering to the present-day's generation and culture. Legally Blonde The Musical is perfect for high school and community theatre, featuring a large ensemble and several big song-and-dance numbers.

ALLISON PARK, PA – A Starry Preview of North Hills High School Musicals called “Twilight Night” will take place on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Church in Allison Park.  High school musical cast soloists will present songs from their upcoming musicals and give an exciting sneak peek of their shows in the spring.  Admission to the evening concert will be a give-what-you-can donation to North Hills Community Outreach, which provides food and financial help to those most in need in the north hills communities.  “We’ve received enthusiastic response from our area high school musical directors to participate in this new venture!”  says Jim Lueers, Arts Director at Memorial Park Church.  “Every spring Pittsburgh area high schools produce fabulous musicals, spending many hours in rehearsal and a wide variety of budgets.   This event is an attempt to level the playing field with no costumes or props to just get a scoop on their musical plans.”   In what is usually a highly competitive atmosphere, this event hopes to bring students and musical lovers together to use their gifts for the good of the community.  We have confirmed North Allegheny, Hampton, Northgate, Avonworth, Shaler, Pine Richland school districts and Eden Christian Academy. Check out the website at www.memorialparkchurch.org for more info and how to sponsor corporate program ad.   The event is called “Twilight Night” since twilight is when stars first start appearing.  All are invited to come enjoy watching the stars come out!
